Mission Statement

The Associated General Contractors of Southeast Texas was founded in 1940, and is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and educating our members and the public through a continual pursuit to enhance the legislative and economic strength, image, and well-being of the local commercial construction industry.

Our non-profit construction trade organization represents over 200+ members that include General Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers,, Architects, Engineers & other Professional organizations.

Many of our Associated General Contractors of SETX members participated in the Lamar University Construction Management Career Fair today, and had the opportunity to visit with students who are looking to pursue a career in the
construction industry. A BIG thank you to these AGC of Southeast Texas members for supporting the
Lamar University Construction Management Program!

Kicking off Career & Technical Education month by distributing over $9,000 worth of The Home Depot Gift Cards and Tools to 17 local High Schools in Region 5! This would not be possible without the generosity of our AGC Members, and we are happy to support the building trades programs for each of these schools!

Real skills, real careers and real opportunity for students wanting to pursue a lifelong trade in the construction industry!

Our AGC Christmas Open House, a Day of Gumbo and Giving, was so much fun!
AGC members and guests filled our stockings with gift cards to donate to local High School Career and Technical Building Trades programs.
